Lucknow: The Ishwariya Swapnashish Seva Samiti, under the leadership of Sanatan Flag Bearer Sapna Goyal, successfully organized Sanatan Kawad Seva at the grand Sanatan Dham Lawn near Rajat Degree College in Chinhat from Friday, February 21, to Wednesday, February 26. This initiative, dedicated to the sacred occasion of Mahashivratri, provided refreshments, rest, and medical services to Kawadiyas, along with a magnificent court of Baba Bholenath.
On the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, a special havan was performed on Wednesday, February 26, by Acharyas, praying for a beautiful world, nation, and humanity through the widespread recitation of Sundarkand in every household. The mission of this grand campaign is to establish “Sundarkand as India’s identity.” With the completion of the havan and puja, the Kawad Bhandara and other services also concluded. Additionally, a feast was organized at Shri Paramanand Harihar Temple in Chinhat as part of the Mahashivratri celebrations.
Looking ahead, on Saturday, March 1, 2100 women will gather at Sanatan Dham Lawn for a grand collective Sundarkand recital. Sapna Goyal, without any government or private assistance, previously organized a grand Sundarkand recital on March 10 last year in celebration of Women’s Day, where more than 5,000 women participated at Jhulelal Ghat in Lucknow. The collective Sundarkand campaign continues to expand at national and international levels. Under this initiative, successful Sundarkand recitals have been conducted at significant spiritual sites such as Naimisharanya, the renowned Siddhbali Temple complex in Kotdwar, Uttarakhand, and the sacred Baba Vishwanath Temple in Kashi.
Since September 11, a monthly collective Sundarkand recital by women has also been initiated at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex in Ayodhya. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra has entrusted Sapna Goyal and the Ishwariya Swapnashish Seva Samiti of Lucknow with the responsibility of leading this initiative. This grand movement aims to restore India’s lost spiritual glory and reestablish it as a global leader by promoting the widespread recitation of Sundarkand on a massive scale.
