Gonda: Samajwadi Party workers across Gonda district celebrated the birthday of party national president and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav by organizing tree plantation drives, community service activities, and public gatherings under the party’s PDA (Pichhda, Dalit, Alpsankhyak) outreach initiative.
The district-level celebration was held under the leadership of District President Arshad Hussain, who extended birthday greetings to Akhilesh Yadav and praised his leadership. Addressing party workers, Hussain said that Yadav’s leadership continues to inspire youth, farmers, women, labourers, traders, and other sections of society. He highlighted the former Chief Minister’s contributions in the fields of development, governance, education, healthcare, and public infrastructure.
According to party leaders, birthday celebrations were organized across all seven Assembly constituencies of Gonda district at sector, zone, and block levels. Workers marked the occasion by cutting cakes, planting saplings, and distributing fruits and sweets among underprivileged people while wishing Akhilesh Yadav good health, long life, and continued success.
Arshad Hussain also called upon party workers to strengthen the organization and take socialist ideals to every section of society. He reiterated the party’s commitment to protecting democratic values and safeguarding the rights of the people.
Several senior party leaders addressed the gathering, including former Gonda Sadar candidate Suraj Singh, Samajwadi Yuvjan Sabha National Vice-President Sarfaraz Hussain Sonu, Trade Cell District President Devendra Singh, Haji Mohammad Zaki, Assembly President Shiv Sampat Singh, and Shiv Akhilesh Vishwakarma.

Among those present were District General Secretary Rajesh Yadav, City President Mateen Siddiqui, Minority Cell District President Afzal Khan, Backward Class Cell District President Sanjay Sahu, Mulayam Singh Youth Brigade District President Devendra Yadav Deepu, Ravi Vishwakarma, Office In-charge Brijesh Kumar Yadav, Shahid Khan, Surendra Bahadur Paswan, Jayendra Tiwari, Mohammad Yusuf, Anil Bhurji, Alakhram, Dharmendra Sahu, Shabbir Ahmad, Ankit Dubey, Bachhraj Yadav, and hundreds of party workers.
The celebrations combined environmental awareness through tree plantation with social outreach activities, reflecting the party’s efforts to engage with local communities on the occasion of its leader’s birthday.
