Robert Lewandowski enters the centurion club

This 24-year-old player scored two goals for Manchester City against Feyenoord and took his total goal count in this competition to 46. Manchester City has not been able to win in the last six matches like this. Lewandowski scored his 100th goal in the Champions League by converting an early penalty into a goal in Barcelona’s 3-0 win against Brest. This star striker from Poland scored his 101st goal in the competition in the injury time of the second half. Ronaldo has scored the most 140 goals in the Champions League. After him comes Messi, who has 129 goals to his name. Lewandowski said after the match, “This is a very good number. I never thought that I would be able to score 100 goals in the Champions League. I am happy to join the club of Cristiano and Messi.”

Thirty-six-year-old Lewandowski reached this milestone in his 125th match in the Champions League. Messi achieved this feat in 123 matches and Ronaldo in 137 matches. Dani Olmo also scored a goal for Barcelona in the second half. Barcelona thus stopped Brest’s undefeated campaign, which helped it reach second place in the points table. Meanwhile, Inter Milan defeated Leipzig 1-0 by an own goal.
