Mumbai: Astrologer, crystal healer and tarot card reader Rinhee Suberwal recently appeared on Siddharth Kannan’s podcast, where she opened up about what she believes is a difficult period for humanity. During the conversation, Rinhee spoke about the years between 2020 and 2032, describing them as a phase of destruction, major shifts in relationships and changing traditional values.
Calling it a “dark phase” for humanity, Rinhee said, “It is a dark phase for our country and for humanity because before anything can begin properly, there is destruction, and that is what is happening right now.”
She explained that she believes this destruction can be seen across different areas of life. “Whether it is the film industry, ordinary people or any sphere of life, this is the decade of destruction,” she said.
Rinhee also pointed to wars, violence and disturbing incidents as examples of what she sees around the world. “You can see wars. You can see people killing each other in different places. A girlfriend is killing her boyfriend, a boyfriend is killing his girlfriend,” she said.
She then spoke about the changing dynamics of marriages and relationships. “Marriages are not lasting. Even marriages that are 30 or 40 years old are breaking down. So, it is a massive energy shift,” Rinhee said.
According to her, people who do not believe in traditional values may find it increasingly difficult to sustain their relationships during this period. “Those who do not believe in traditional values, even if they have been married for 50 years, their marriages may not work,” she claimed.
Rinhee also spoke about the emotional struggles people are facing today. “Look at how many people are depressed today. How many people are unable to revive themselves or recover,” she said.
She stressed that spirituality is not simply about calling oneself spiritual or relying on external remedies. “People say they are spiritual, but being spiritual does not mean that. Being spiritual means you also have to improve many things within yourself,” Rinhee explained.
“You have to fix many things within yourself. Only then will the remedies given by an astrologer work for you,” she added.
Rinhee further emphasised the importance of one’s actions. “If you are taking treatment here and the next day you go and do something bad to someone, how will that energy follow you? It will not,” she said.
According to Rinhee, this could also be why some people experience what they consider immediate results while others do not. “That is why there are some people who get instant results, and there are some people who never get results,” she said.
Speaking about people from the entertainment industry who approach her, Rinhee said that many are impatient about achieving their goals. “Some people from the industry come and sit with me and keep asking, ‘When will I get this? When will I get this?’ I tell them, first, manifest it,” she said.
She encouraged people to combine manifestation with patience. “Manifestation is scientific. At the same time, develop patience. Think about that thing as if it is already happening to you,” Rinhee said.
She also spoke about the spiritual remedies she recommends to people. “Along with that, we give you remedies involving Shiva, Ganpati or other sattvic practices. You have to follow them,” she said.
However, Rinhee believes that remedies cannot simply be treated as emergency solutions. “If today you tell me that you are in a critical situation and ask me to save you, no matter how many times I arrange the Mahamrityunjaya Jaap or perform a puja for you at Trimbakeshwar, it will not make a difference,” she said.
Rinhee believes people should seek guidance before reaching a crisis point. Comparing the role of an astrologer to that of a family doctor, she said, “Just as you have a family doctor, you also need a guru, spiritual master or astrologer.”
She explained that regular guidance can help people understand difficult phases before they arrive. “They can guide you from time to time and tell you, ‘These six months will be difficult for you, these eight months will be difficult for you. Just get through this phase and everything else is fine,’” Rinhee said.
Rinhee also discussed the challenges within the film industry, particularly when it comes to opportunities and recognition. She questioned why the industry would not experience a difficult period after what she described as unfair treatment of talented people.
“Why would things not go wrong in the film industry? There has been so much foul play with people. So many deserving people did not get opportunities. There were so many talented children from good families who are actually talented, but nobody knows them today. They have no identity,” she said.
At the same time, she claimed that some people have progressed because of references and connections. “And some people have moved ahead simply because of references. So, that is bound to come back,” Rinhee said.
She also pointed to changing audience reactions to films, particularly those featuring children of established industry families. “In this decade, you have seen that films featuring children from big families are also failing,” she said.
Rinhee then highlighted filmmaker Aditya Dhar and actor Yami Gautam as examples of outsiders who have made an impact. Referring to their work on Dhurandhar, she said, “People like Aditya Dhar and Yami Gautam come with Dhurandhar and do such incredible work. Every outsider is proud that this has happened.”
