Retired Teachers Felicitated at Ceremony Organised by Teachers’ Association in Gonda

Gonda: The Jhanjhari unit of Uttar Pradeshiya Purva Madhyamik Shikshak Sangh organised a grand felicitation ceremony for retired teachers at the District Panchayat Auditorium in Gonda.

District Basic Education Officer attended the programme as the chief guest, while Headquarters Block Education Officer Ram Khelawan Singh and Jhanjhari Block Education Officer Upendra Tripathi were present as special guests.

Teachers who retired during the 2025–26 session from the Jhanjhari block were honoured with shawls and mementoes. Those felicitated included Veer Vikram Singh, Suresh Kumar Singh, Sudha Singh, Malti Singh, Rekha Singh, Jaydevi Singh, Munni Singh Bisen, Uma Singh, Sharda Pratap Singh, Jagdish Prasad Ojha, Kashfa Bano, Fakhruddin, Neelam Tripathi, and Binduwati Mishra.

Speaking on the occasion, BEO Upendra Tripathi urged the retired teachers to share their valuable experiences with society and wished them good health and a fulfilling life after retirement.

District President Ashok Kumar Pandey said that the payment process of retirement dues for teachers is in its final stage and would be completed soon.

Several office-bearers and members of the teachers’ association attended the programme, including Provincial Accountant Rajesh Kumar Shukla, Provincial Joint Minister Sushil Kumar, District General Secretary Ajit Kumar Tiwari, District Treasurer Narendra Kumar Singh, Belsar Minister Yashwant Pandey, Nagar President Anand Pratap Singh, Wazirganj Minister Manoj Kumar Sharma, Avneesh Pandey, and Anand Dev Singh.

The event was organised under the leadership of Jhanjhari Unit President Ajay Kumar Shukla, Minister Sanjay Kumar Singh, Treasurer Tejendra Dwivedi, Ram Pratap Verma, Om Shankar Yadav, and Vandana Dwivedi. Hundreds of teachers were present during the ceremony.
