The locality had been in need of such a proactive officer for a long time. Maulviganj, once plagued by traffic jams due to roadside vendors and the unruly behavior of e-rickshaw drivers, started to resemble its former, orderly self.
Chowki in-charge Ashish Raghuvanshi, in his characteristic style, conducted foot patrols in the area, cracking down on shopkeepers who had encroached on public space. He issued stern warnings against occupying the footpaths in front of their shops. Additionally, he took photos of vehicles parked outside the shops that were obstructing traffic, ensuring strict enforcement of the rules.
