Om Prakash Rajbhar ushers in cleanliness vibes

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh’s Panchayati Raj, Minority Welfare, Muslim Waqf and Haj Minister  Om Prakash Rajbhar  paid tribute to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and the country’s second Prime Minister Late Lal Bahadur Shastri by garlanding their statues in a program organized at the conclusion of Swachhata Hi Seva Pakhwada in the auditorium hall of Panchayati Raj Directorate Aliganj.

On this occasion, he called upon the people to include cleanliness in their daily routine. He said that cleanliness has to be brought in nature and culture, only then our state will be able to achieve the goal of cleanliness. He appealed to the people to connect themselves with the call of the successful Prime Minister  Narendra Modi.

He said that by making the message of equality, freedom, fraternity and justice given by the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and the cleanliness campaign launched by the Honorable Prime Minister successful, we can pay true tribute to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and Late Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri.

The Panchayati Raj Minister said that all the officers / employees are working wholeheartedly to make the department number one in the country. Swachhata Abhiyan can be made successful with the cooperation of all. Everyone should work together and strongly on the ground. Public participation is necessary to make any campaign successful and our successful Prime Minister and successful Chief Minister are constantly working for public welfare.

They are also making continuous efforts to ensure that the benefits of the schemes reach the masses. He said that cleanliness is the key to health. If we do not allow garbage to accumulate around us, we can avoid many diseases. He said that just as there is dirt every day, similarly we should also clean it every day. Also, every person should stop those who spread dirt so that they do not do it again.

On this occasion, the Panchayati Raj Minister honored 10-10 sanitation workers from five districts, Lucknow, Barabanki, Unnao, Sitapur and Rae Bareli, engaged in cleanliness work, by giving them certificates and shawls. On this occasion, Director Panchayati Raj Shri Atal Kumar Rai, while paying tribute to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and the revered Prime Minister Late Lal Bahadur Shastri, said that Gandhiji connected the freedom struggle with the common people, his work made the freedom movement a movement of the masses.

Gandhiji’s dream was that our village councils should become self-reliant and strive for good governance. To make his dream come true, the Government of India brought the Act and formed the Panchayats. The Panchayati Raj Department is constantly making efforts to make every Gram Sabha ODF Plus. Our Gram Panchayat has been declared ODF in the first phase under SBM and now in the second phase it is rapidly moving towards ODF Plus. On this occasion, Joint Director  RS Chaudhary, Deputy Director Panchayati Raj  SN Singh,  Yogendra Katiyar, Abhay Kumar Shahi and other officers / employees of the department were present.
