Lucknow: The poetry collection ‘Nahar Kinare’, inspired by thoughts and everyday life experiences, was unveiled amidst musical performances. The launch event took place at the Ballroom of MB Club, where esteemed guests Kiran Kaushik, Dr. Sunita Saxena, and Vibhuti Kumar Sinha formally released the book.
On this occasion, the guest speakers highlighted how, despite being a researcher in the field of science, Dr. Charu has beautifully expressed her emotions and literary sensibilities through poetry. Speaking about her writing journey, Dr. Charu shared that she initially began composing poems for personal joy, but over time, it evolved into a natural mode of self-expression.
Dr. Rashmi Chaturvedi, in her candid remarks, observed that Dr. Charu’s poetry vividly portrays both the gentle and strong aspects of a mother’s persona. The event also featured mesmerizing ghazal performances by Ustad Gulshan Bharti and his disciples, with musical accompaniment by Vijay Saini on the organ and Thapa on the tabla.
Dr. D.C. Karen concluded the event with a vote of thanks. The gathering was graced by several distinguished guests, including Prabhu Jhingran, Alok Shukla, Akhilesh Mayank, and Rajveer Ratan, among others.
