Lucknow: While the implementation of village-oriented schemes of the Rural Development Department is being done in a better way under the leadership and guidance of Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, arrangements have been made for continuous monitoring to ensure that there is no confusion in implementing the schemes.
Strict instructions have also been given to keep an effective and close eye on the quality of works under the MNREGA scheme. The work of monitoring MNREGA works by videography / photography with drone technology is going on continuously. The team posted at the state headquarters level is continuously visiting the districts and doing videography/photography of the works using drone technology, in this sequence, now the team will visit Banda district and inspect the works done under the scheme.
Under the MNREGA scheme, monitoring of work sites is also being done through drone system. In order to ensure the quality of MNREGA works, a drone team was deployed at the State MNREGA Headquarters as per the instructions of the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. The state level drone team is being used for regular inspection/monitoring.
Commissioner, Rural Development G.S. Priyadarshi has given instructions to inspect/monitor all the works done under MNREGA in the year 2023-24 in 20 Gram Panchayats of Banda district by doing videography/photography with the drone team. In this regard, the Chief Development Officer of Banda district has been instructed to ensure the duty of subordinate officers and employees to provide assistance to the drone team. According to the prescribed roster, the drone team will discharge the responsibilities assigned to it in 20 gram panchayats of different development blocks of Banda district from September 5 to September 11.
