Made in Russia Forum to Focus on High Technology and Export Innovation

Moscow: High technology, technology exports and innovative solutions will take centre stage at the international “Made in Russia” Forum scheduled for November 16 at the National Centre Russia in Moscow. Organised by the Russian Export Center (REC), part of the VEB.RF Group, the event will focus on promoting Russian technologies in international markets and expanding global cooperation in innovation.

The forum’s agenda will cover the export of science-intensive products, integration into international value chains, and partnerships for joint innovation projects. Discussions will also address geopolitical changes affecting global trade, evolving supply chains, export financing, digital solutions and ways to strengthen the export potential of small and medium-sized businesses.

For Indian businesses, the Made in Russia initiative has emerged as a platform for exploring market opportunities. On August 21, 2026, the REC opened India’s first permanent Made in Russia national pavilion in Navi Mumbai, its eighth overseas pavilion. Participating companies include MAKFA, United Confectioners and Miratorg.

The REC also organised a business mission for 23 Russian companies during the INNOPROM.India exhibition in New Delhi in September. A business event held in Mumbai in May reportedly generated agreements with export potential exceeding $15 million.

According to India’s Ministry of Commerce, bilateral trade between India and Russia rose by 24.3% to $47.7 billion during January–July 2026. The REC plans to launch a pilot project for Made in Russia-branded shelves in Indian retail stores by the end of the year.

Direct business-to-business meetings between Russian exporters and overseas partners will be a key feature of the forum. Government representatives, business leaders, banks, export support organisations, industry associations, foreign delegations and logistics companies are expected to participate.

The event will also host a Made in Russia exhibition showcasing technology developed across Russian regions. Interactive displays will highlight innovations in healthcare, robotics, industry and information technology, demonstrating products and projects aimed at international markets.

The previous edition attracted participants from more than 100 countries and featured 140 speakers across 18 sessions. Organisers reported more than 500 B2B meetings and over 6.3 million views of the forum’s online broadcasts.

The Russian Export Center is a state institution that supports non-commodity and non-energy exports, offering financial and non-financial assistance to businesses seeking to enter international markets.
