Lucknow: Lucknow and Unnao were declared joint champions of the CK Nayudu Under-19 Divisional School Cricket Tournament held at Nikhat Ground in Unnao under the aegis of the Education Department. The final could not be played due to rain and adverse weather conditions, prompting the organisers to declare both teams joint winners.
Earlier, Lucknow secured a place in the final by defeating Lakhimpur by 72 runs in the semi-final. Batting first, Lucknow scored 112 for five in the allotted 10 overs.

Player of the Match Aman Ansari led the innings with an unbeaten 82 off 34 balls, smashing 11 fours and three sixes. Mohammad Zeeshan contributed 11 runs, while Manoj Kumar scored 16.
For Lakhimpur, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Yuvraj and Shekhar claimed one wicket each.
In reply, Lakhimpur were bowled out for 40 in 8.3 overs. Aman Ansari and Abhishek Rawat took three wickets each, while Pratham Gupta claimed two and Mohammad Zeeshan picked up one.

Teams from Unnao, Lucknow, Lakhimpur, Sitapur, Hardoi and Rae Bareli participated in the divisional tournament.
The prizes were distributed jointly by chief guest Pankaj Gupta, MLA from Unnao, and Swapnil Watson and Sanjay Kumar, selectors for the Lucknow and Uttar Pradesh teams.
