Literary Gathering in Gonda Celebrates the Unifying Spirit of Literature

Gonda: A literary felicitation ceremony held at the Advocate Literary and Cultural Cell of the Bar Association, Gonda, highlighted the role of literature in fostering social harmony and strengthening cultural ties across regions. The event honoured distinguished literary personalities from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, including noted author Karuna Shankar Panda, orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Sunil Devangan, and Dr. Lakshmi Lal Sahu, for their contributions to literature and society.

Welcoming the guests, Ravi Chandra Tripathi, President of the Bar Association, said literature promotes a culture of dialogue and mutual understanding while contributing to the creation of a refined and civilized society. He remarked that the literary fraternity has no boundaries and extends beyond geographical and linguistic limits, uniting people through shared values and creative expression.

The ceremony was organised by senior advocate and litterateur Rajesh Ojha, who emphasized that the literary community transcends interstate and international borders. He noted that every language, culture and nation enriches the larger literary family, making literature a universal platform for human connection.

Several members of the Bar Association participated in the event and extended a warm welcome to the visiting guests. Among them were Sunil Kumar Pandey, General Secretary of the Bar Association; advocate and young literary figure Shivam Tripathi; senior advocate Ram Pher Prajapati; and Pramod Nandan Srivastava, who joined in honouring the visiting dignitaries with mementoes and expressions of appreciation.

The gathering concluded with a shared commitment to strengthening literary and cultural exchanges, reaffirming the belief that literature serves as a powerful bridge connecting people across communities, languages and regions.
