With this, Kwena Mafaka has broken the 11-year old record of Michael Neser. Kwena Mafaka has not yet made his debut in international cricket. The 17-year-old fast bowler took 21 wickets at an average of 9.71 in the 2024 Under-19 World Cup and was adjudged the best player of the tournament.
