Lucknow: The oath taking ceremony of the new executive of Uttar Pradesh Khadi Village Industries Board Employees Union was held. On this occasion, Minister of Micro, Small, Medium, Enterprises, Silk, Handloom and Textiles and Khadi and Village Industries Department, Rakesh Sachan was present as the chief guest. He administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new executive.
Joint Chief Executive Officer of the Board, Siddharth Yadav and other officers and employees were also present in the oath taking ceremony. This oath taking ceremony was organized after the elections of the Board Employees Union held on 15 July 2024.
In this election, Kamlesh Kumar Verma was elected President, Harigend Maurya as General Secretary, Prakash Chandra Srivastava and Rajendra Kumar Kashyap as Vice Presidents, Rajkumar as Minister, Harikaran Singh as Organization Minister, Laxmi Narayan Tiwari as Treasurer and Sudhar Singh as Publicity Minister. Along with this, seven executive members – Abhishek Kumar Agnihotri, Amit Kumar Tripathi, Kamalakant Singh Yadav, Shyamsundar Tiwari, Harishchandra, Bhairo Prasad and Ramanand Verma were also sworn in.
