Keshav Prasad Maurya Inspects Under-Construction Six-Lane Bridge in Prayagraj, Directs Faster Completion

Prayagraj/Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya inspected the ongoing construction of a six-lane bridge in Prayagraj and directed the executing agency to accelerate the work and complete the project at the earliest.

During the site inspection, Maurya reviewed the progress of construction and stressed that quality standards must be strictly maintained. He also instructed officials to ensure compliance with all prescribed safety standards and make necessary arrangements, including the installation of view cutters and other essential facilities.

Speaking to the media, the Deputy Chief Minister said the completion of the six-lane bridge would provide significant relief to commuters facing traffic congestion in the Phaphamau area and reduce travel time.

He added that the bridge would facilitate smoother movement of devotees and Kalpvasis visiting Prayagraj during the annual Magh Mela and the Maha Kumbh. The project, he said, would also play an important role in the city’s infrastructure development.

Phaphamau MLA Guru Prasad Maurya, Sanjay Gupta, Nirmala Paswan and Rajesh Shukla, along with other public representatives and officials from the concerned departments, were present during the inspection.
