KBC Shooting Set to Begin as Amitabh Bachchan Says, ‘Now the Test Begins’
Mumbai: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is all set to begin shooting for the upcoming season of the popular quiz-based reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) from August 1, following the completion of its pre-production phase.
The 83-year-old actor shared details on his blog, along with exclusive pictures from the KBC set. Reflecting on the preparations, Bachchan wrote that the final mock sessions were being completed and the production and audience phase was about to begin.
Hinting at a more challenging season, he added, “And this time, as we say in our promo, zara sochna padega!” suggesting that contestants will need to think harder as they tackle the questions.Bachchan also thanked fans for their warm wishes on the occasion of Guru Purnima.
He apologised for not being able to respond to the overwhelming number of messages, saying he was caught between work and replying to his well-wishers.The new season of KBC is scheduled to premiere on Sony Entertainment Television on August 10.
