Kavitta recently attended the screening of the film Duet, which was showcased by actor-director Sheetal Menon. Speaking about the event, she appreciated the opportunity to celebrate cinema and interact with fellow members of the entertainment industry.
When asked what fashion means to her, Kavitta kept it simple and honest. “Fashion is just being easy with yourself and dressing accordingly,” she says. Rather than chasing every new trend, she believes confidence comes from wearing something that reflects your personality.
For Kavitta, dressing well for events is important, but not at the cost of comfort. She explains that every public appearance represents an artist’s personality, yet authenticity matters more than making a loud fashion statement. “My fashion funda is to be comfortable in what you adorn,” she shares, adding that confidence naturally follows when you feel at ease in your outfit.
When it comes to celebrity fashion icons, Kavitta has a few clear favourites. “I really admire Alia Bhatt’s fashion sense. She carries every outfit with so much grace, whether it’s traditional or casual. It’s always elegant without looking overdone,” she shares. She is equally impressed by Deepika Padukone’s style. “Deepika has such a powerful presence. I love the way she experiments with fashion while keeping it classy. She can make even the simplest outfit look stunning.”
Talking about her professional journey, Kavitta says working on Kaala was a memorable experience. “Kaala was a good journey for me,” she says, recalling the project fondly.
A trained performer with a strong foundation in acting, Kavitta reveals that her aspirations are driven by meaningful storytelling rather than glamour. Coming from a drama school background, she is keen to take on challenging, performance-oriented characters that allow her to showcase different shades of her acting abilities. “I come from drama school, so I want to do performance-based roles where a range can be explored,” she says.
