Lucknow: The Janata Dal (United) (JDU) held a crucial review meeting at the party’s state office in Lucknow. The meeting was presided over by the JDU State President, Anup Singh Patel, and attended by the party’s state in-charge and Bihar Cabinet Minister, Shravan Kumar. The agenda focused on a comprehensive review of district office-bearers newly appointed in various divisions by their respective divisional coordinators.
Chairing the review meeting, State President Anup Singh Patel emphasized the importance of strengthening the party’s grassroots structure. Honorable Minister Shravan Kumar, in his capacity as Uttar Pradesh in-charge, held a separate review session with divisional coordinators and district presidents. He directed them to appoint booth-level workers across the state to ensure an effective party presence in the run-up to the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. The progress of these appointments will be reviewed in the next monthly meeting.
Following the meeting, divisional coordinators and district party presidents expressed enthusiasm and commitment towards reinforcing the party’s outreach. They assured that by the next review session, a complete assessment of booth-level committees will be presented.
Several senior party leaders and office bearers attended today’s meeting, including State Spokesperson Professor K.K. Tripathi, State Vice President Mamta Singh, Women’s Wing State President Poonam Singh, Shalini Singh Patel, Office In-charge O.P. Verma, Hari Shankar Patel, Ekhlakh Ahmed, Abhishek Rai, Naushad Khan, Youth Wing State President Prashant Singh Patel, Spokespersons Diwakar Singh and Vineet Tiwari, Treasurer Amar Singh Katiyar, Subhash Pathak, Rajneesh Patel, and numerous divisional coordinators, district presidents, party officials, and workers from across the state.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with party members gearing up for the next phase of organizational expansion and election preparations.
