Lucknow: The “Convocation – May 2026,” a grand and dignified event organized by the Lucknow Branch of the Central India Regional Council (CIRC) of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), was successfully concluded at the Holiday Inn Lucknow Airport. During the ceremony, newly qualified Chartered Accountants were honored, marking a celebration of the commencement of their professional journeys.
This prestigious event was organized under the aegis of the ICAI’s Members and Students Services Directorate, witnessing the presence of a large number of newly qualified CAs, their parents, family members, senior members, and distinguished guests. The atmosphere of the ceremony was filled with enthusiasm, pride, and inspiration.
The program was graced by the special presence of CA Gyan Chandra Mishra, Honorable Central Council Member; CA Ankur Goyal, Chairman, CIRC of ICAI; CA Ashwani Jaiswal, Chairman, Lucknow Branch, CIRC of ICAI; and CA Ashish Gupta, Secretary, Lucknow Branch, CIRC of ICAI. Additionally, former chairpersons and senior members of the branch further enhanced the dignity of the ceremony.
In their addresses, the speakers congratulated the newly qualified Chartered Accountants, stating that Chartered Accountancy is not merely a profession, but a symbol of ethics, discipline, trust, and responsibility. They inspired the young professionals to engage in continuous learning, develop technical proficiency, and uphold professional excellence.

The office bearers remarked that the CA profession offers every individual an equal opportunity to advance based on their talent, hard work, and dedication. Furthermore, they called upon the newly qualified CAs to actively contribute towards the country’s economic progress, financial transparency, and nation-building.
Expressing their gratitude to the ICAI leadership, the office bearers of the Lucknow Branch stated that the opportunity for Lucknow to host the convocation ceremony for the very first time is a matter of great pride and honor for the entire region. They described this milestone as a testament to the growing dynamism and institutional strength of the Lucknow Branch. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of certificates to the newly qualified Chartered Accountants and the administration of an oath to uphold the dignity, ethical values, and professional conduct of the profession.
