Singrauli: The half-yearly meeting of Nagar Rajbhasha Implementation Committee (NARAKAS) was organised by NTPC Vindhyachal Project under the aegis of NCL Singrauli at the Administrative Building of NTPC Vindhyachal. The main objective of this meeting was to review the work being done for the promotion of official language in the member offices of the Official Language Implementation Committee and to create interest in Hindi among the people by organising various programmes, awareness campaigns, and competitions from time to time. On arrival, tree plantation was also organized in the Administrative Building premises.
The programme was inaugurated by lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest B. Sai Ram, Chairman and CMD (NCL) of NARAKAS, Singrauli, Special Guest Executive Director (Vindhyachal) E. Satya Phani Kumar, Chief General Manager (Medical Services) Dr. B. C. Chaturvedi, Head of Human Resources Department Rakesh Arora and other senior officials. On this occasion, Executive Director (Vindhyachal) E. Satya Phani Kumar in his address said that Hindi is a simple and easy language which binds all the people together.
