Gonda: A dignified farewell ceremony was organized at the auditorium of the Reserve Police Lines in Gonda to honor two Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) on their transfer to new assignments. The event was held under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Vineet Jaiswal and witnessed the participation of senior police officers and personnel from across the district.
The ceremony was organized to bid farewell to Shilpa Verma, who has been transferred to Kannauj district, and Pawan Kumar Verma, who has been transferred to Ayodhya district.
The event was conducted in a warm and respectful atmosphere and was attended by gazetted officers, Additional Superintendents of Police, Circle Officers, Station House Officers, and a large number of police personnel. During the programme, SP Vineet Jaiswal presented mementoes and bouquets to both officers in recognition of their dedicated service and contributions to the district police administration.
Several senior officers also felicitated the outgoing officers with floral bouquets and extended their best wishes for success in their future responsibilities.
Addressing the gathering, SP Vineet Jaiswal praised both officers for their professionalism, discipline, and commitment to public service. He said that Shilpa Verma and Pawan Kumar Verma had played an important role in maintaining law and order, strengthening crime-control measures, and fostering positive coordination between the police and the public during their tenure in Gonda.

He noted that their leadership, administrative capabilities, and work ethic would continue to serve as an inspiration for fellow officers and personnel. “Their dedication and valuable contributions have strengthened the policing framework in the district. The department will continue to benefit from the standards and practices they have established,” he said.
In their farewell remarks, both officers expressed gratitude to their colleagues and staff for their support and cooperation during their tenure in Gonda. They described their posting in the district as a memorable and significant chapter of their professional careers and said the experiences gained here would help them in effectively discharging their future responsibilities.
The ceremony was attended by Ajit Kumar Rajak, Radheshyam Rai, along with all Circle Officers, Station House Officers, Reserve Inspectors, and other police officials.
The programme concluded on an emotional yet celebratory note, with officers and staff extending their heartfelt wishes to Shilpa Verma and Pawan Kumar Verma for a successful, healthy, and fulfilling future in their new assignments.
