London: Britain, Italy and Japan will jointly develop the world’s second sixth-generation stealth fighter aircraft. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has given the green signal to the project. The three countries will develop fighter aircraft under the Global Combat Air Program i.e. GCAP. GCAP is headquartered in Britain. The purpose of this program is to counter China. According to the plan, this stealth fighter aircraft is expected to be ready by 2035.
Agreement reached last year
Britain, Italy and Japan have prepared the GCAP program to deal with China. An agreement was reached between the three countries only last year. Two different military programs have been combined in this project. Italy’s Tempest project and Japan’s F-X program will be part of GCAP. It is being told that this project to develop the sixth generation stealth aircraft is worth billions of dollars.
Formal announcement yet to be made
According to the Financial Times, British Prime Minister Starmer and his cabinet have approved the Global Combat Aircraft Program. The program may be formally announced in a few weeks. Earlier it was believed that Britain could withdraw from this project due to high cost. But the Prime Minister’s approval has put an end to all speculations.
Right now America has the most lethal aircraft
All three countries want to develop stealth fighter aircraft by 2035 at any cost. The UK Defense Minister said that the UK is a proud member of the Global Combat Air Program. We are working together with Japan and Italy. Our focus is on preparing the sixth generation fighter aircraft by 2035. If this fighter aircraft is ready on time, then it will be the world’s second most advanced sixth generation fighter aircraft after America’s B-21 Raider Bomber. The B-21 Raider Bomber has been prepared by the American company Northrop Grumman.
These companies will prepare the fighter aircraft
The second sixth generation stealth fighter aircraft will be developed jointly by Italy’s Leonardo Aerospace, British aircraft manufacturer BAE Systems, Rolls-Royce and Japan’s Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. America’s B-21 Raider bomber is a very deadly fighter plane. This plane is also adept at dodging radars. The special thing is that the plane is capable of carrying out a nuclear attack. This is the world’s first digital bomber based on cloud technology.
