Singrauli: Girl Empowerment Mission is an excellent platform for rural girls to hone their talents. Efforts are being made to empower rural girls through the Girl Empowerment Mission. So far, more than 5000 girls have been empowered and educated through this campaign.
This campaign is being successfully organized in 50 projects of NTPC. These things were said by E Satya Phani Kumar, Executive Director of NTPC Vindhyachal. The Executive Director was interacting with media representatives in the context of Girl Empowerment Mission 2024 at Umang Bhawan.
The Executive Director said that Girl Empowerment Mission is a pilot project of NTPC VSR which was started in the year 2018 in Vindhyachal, Singrauli and Rihand projects of NTPC. In view of the success of this campaign, this campaign is now being successfully run in 50 projects of NTPC.
Kumar informed that this year 120 5th pass rural girls from 18 government schools around the project have been included in this campaign. This four-week residential training will be concluded on 14 June 2024.
