Lucknow: In the memory of Padma Shri Yogesh Praveen and Prof. Kamla Srivastava, a musical evening of songs written by them was organized. In the Satsang courtyard of Sankatmochan Hanuman Setu Mandir, women presented a musical presentation of bhajans and songs. In coordination with Jyoti Kalash Sanskriti Sansthan’s secretary Kanak Verma, women performed the songs under the direction of folk singer Indira Srivastava Awadhi folk singer, Asha Srivastava graded from Akashvani Doordarshan. Twenty-five women including Neera Mishra, Anjali Srivastava, Sushma Prakash, Aparna Singh, Jyoti Kiran Ratan, Sarita Agarwal, Kumkum, Neeta Nigam, Shakuntala, Suman, Purnima, Madhu, Manjula, Ila participated in it.
Conducted by Dr. Sarojini. The program started with the shloka of Asha Srivastava. With Indira Srivastava – Jagadamba Maharani Devi Geet. Ram Naam Rat -Kab Milihain Ghanshyam.
