Bareilly: An e-lottery programme was successfully conducted under the Chief Minister Indigenous Cow Conservation Scheme being implemented through the Nand Baba Milk Mission for the financial year 2026-27. The process was held under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Avinash Singh at the Collectorate Auditorium in Bareilly.
The e-lottery was conducted through the Nand Baba Milk Mission portal in the presence of the Chief Treasury Officer, Bareilly; District Development Officer, Bareilly; Chief Veterinary Officer, Bareilly; District Economics and Statistics Officer, Bareilly; District Coordinator of Nand Baba Milk Mission, Bareilly Division, and members of the selection committee along with beneficiaries.
A total of 116 eligible applicants, including 51 women and 65 men, were considered for selection through the transparent e-lottery process. Against the total target of 28 beneficiaries for Bareilly district, comprising 14 men and 14 women, 14 women were selected from the 51 eligible female applicants, while 14 men were selected from the 65 eligible male applicants.
The remaining 37 women and 51 men applicants have been placed on the waiting list.
The initiative aims to promote indigenous cow breeds, strengthen dairy development, and provide financial support to eligible beneficiaries for improving livestock-based livelihoods.
Officials and staff members of the Dairy Development Department, Uttar Pradesh, Bareilly, were also present during the e-lottery programme. The event was conducted in a transparent manner with the participation of committee members and beneficiaries.
