‘Do Not Worry, No Hurdle Will Be Allowed in Child’s Treatment’: CM Yogi Assures Woman at Janata Darshan

Gorakhpur: CM Yogi Adityanath  assured a woman from Shravasti that her critically ill child would receive uninterrupted medical treatment, promising support through the Ayushman Bharat scheme as well as financial assistance from the Chief Minister’s discretionary fund.

The assurance was given during the Janata Darshan programme held at the Gorakhnath Temple, where the Chief Minister met people and listened to their grievances during his Gorakhpur visit. The woman, who had travelled from Shravasti seeking help for her child’s treatment, moved the Chief Minister with her appeal. Seeing the ailing child, the Chief Minister appeared visibly emotional.

When asked about the Ayushman card, the woman informed the Chief Minister that it had not yet been made. Reassuring her, Adityanath said, “Do not worry. We will not allow any obstacle in the treatment of the child.” He directed officials on the spot to ensure that the Ayushman card is issued promptly and confirmed that additional financial assistance would be provided from the discretionary fund if required.

Handing over the woman’s application to the officials present, the Chief Minister instructed them to forward it to the District Magistrate of Shravasti for immediate action. He also directed that a detailed estimate of the child’s treatment be prepared and sent to the government through the district administration.

During the Janata Darshan programme, the Chief Minister met nearly 200 people. He personally reached out to those seated in front of the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan, patiently listening to each grievance and collecting written applications. Senior officials accompanying him were given on-the-spot instructions to ensure timely resolution of the issues raised.

Emphasising sensitivity and accountability, Adityanath directed administrative and police officials to ensure that all grievances are addressed in a time-bound, fair, and satisfactory manner. He particularly instructed strict action against criminals and land mafias in cases related to crime and illegal land कब्जा (encroachment).

The Janata Darshan also saw several women arriving with their children. The Chief Minister interacted warmly with the children, offering them chocolates and blessings, further underlining the humane approach of the outreach programme.
