Gonda: Divisional Commissioner Durga Shakti Nagpal launched ‘Mission Daksh Devipatan – Har Bachcha, Har Dakshata’ at a divisional-level workshop in Gonda, aiming to strengthen foundational learning among students in Classes 1 and 2. The three-month campaign will initially cover one block each in Balrampur Rural, Ikauna in Shravasti, Payagpur in Bahraich and Pandri Kripal in Gonda.
The mission aims to help every child achieve at least 70% of the expected grade-level competencies. Baseline, midline and endline assessments by DIET trainers will track progress and identify learning gaps.
Nagpal also stressed improving school facilities, teaching quality, health and nutrition awareness, and monitoring. Chief Development Officers and district and block task forces will prioritise schools in selected blocks. Education officials, DIET principals, Block Education Officers and Academic Resource Persons attended the workshop.
