Mumbai: Bollywood is set to welcome three promising newcomers with the release of the romantic family drama ‘Dil Deewana Ho Gaya’. Television actress Kajal Chauhan, advertising model Bhanuj Sood, and actor Shubhkaran Bhopal from Manali will make their Hindi film debut in the movie, which is scheduled to release in cinemas across India on July 31.
Produced by Ishpal Singh Chawla under the Grandway Productions banner, the film marks the producer’s first Hindi feature. Chawla said he chose to launch fresh talent because he believes a film’s true strength lies in a compelling story, memorable music and convincing performances rather than star power.
The film is directed by Rajeev Shamlal Soni, who is making his feature film directorial debut after directing several popular television serials. Shot across the scenic locations of Mumbai and Manali, the film aims to offer audiences a visually appealing and wholesome family entertainment experience.
Speaking about her Bollywood debut, Kajal Chauhan said that after spending years in television, acting in films had always been her dream. She thanked producer Ishpal Singh Chawla for placing his faith in a newcomer and said the entire team had worked with dedication to bring the story to life.
Bhanuj Sood, who has previously appeared in several major advertising campaigns, described the film as a special beginning to his acting career. He said being launched in a feature film was a significant opportunity and credited the cast and crew for their sincerity and hard work throughout the production.
Shubhkaran Bhopal, a native of Manali, said he immediately accepted the project after director Rajeev Shamlal Soni narrated the story and revealed that portions of the film would be shot in his hometown. He described watching his family visit the set and see him perform as one of the most memorable moments of his life.
The film’s trailer and music were recently unveiled at a launch event in Mumbai, where they received an enthusiastic response from the media and invited guests, generating anticipation ahead of the theatrical release.
Music for ‘Dil Deewana Ho Gaya’ has been composed by Vishnu Narayan. Producer Ishpal Singh Chawla expressed confidence that the film’s five songs would resonate with audiences and remain memorable long after its release.
The supporting cast includes Mushtaq Khan, Arun Bakshi, Raju Kher, Brij Gopal, Mehul Buch, Garima Agrawal, Anjali Gupta and Divya Dwivedi in key roles.
The film will be distributed nationwide by JB Pictures, headed by Karan Bhatia. Combining fresh talent, an emotional storyline, melodious music and family-friendly entertainment, ‘Dil Deewana Ho Gaya’ is set to arrive in theatres across India on July 31.
