Lucknow : On the auspicious occasion of Shri Ramnavmi, a ‘Vishal Bhandara“was organized for Durge Maa at Vibhuti Khand Market near the Police Chowki at Gomti Nagar . The Bhandara began with Maa Durge Vandana, praises of Lord Shri Ram, Pujan, Havan and Aarti. Additional District Judge, Sandeep Tiwari, opened the Bhandara with Prasad Distribution. Renowned litterateur and senior journalist Pandit Hari Om Sharma ‘Hari’ welcomed the devotees by presenting them a chunri of Goddess Durga. The vast congregation of devotees made the atmosphere Divine and reverential. Renowned persons from different walks of life including journalists, administrative personnel, literary figures and educationists not only joined in the bhandara but contributed to it by serving the Prasad to others.
On this occasion, Sandeep Tiwari, Additional District Judge said that no words are sufficient to describe the immense value of this celebration. Speaking on this auspicious day, Pt. Hari Om Sharma ‘Hari’ said that anyone who is protected by Maa Durge is truly blessed and benefitted. Convenor of the Bhandara, Engineer Manuj Sharma expressed his heartfelt gratitude and good wishes to all those who had contributed and to the members of the Bhandara Committee.
Rajendra Chaurasia, a prominent member of the Bhandara Committee said that the bhandara began at 11.30 in the morning and the festivity continued till late night. Devotees exhibited an astonishing amount of zeal and enthusiasm at the bhandara celebrations.
