Prayagraj: In a historic initiative celebrating the spiritual and cultural grandeur of Maha Kumbh 2025, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath unveiled Indian Bank’s Maha Kumbh Mela Special ATM Debit Card today in Prayagraj. The grand event witnessed the presence of several senior officials, including Sudhir Kumar Gupta, Chief General Manager of Indian Bank, Lucknow; Naveen Kumar Srivastava, Regional General Manager, Prayagraj; Pranesh Kumar, Zonal Manager, Lucknow; and P.N. Upadhyay, Zonal Manager, Prayagraj.
The specially designed ATM debit card not only symbolizes the state’s rich cultural heritage but also bridges Uttar Pradesh’s glorious identity with financial empowerment. During the 45-day Maha Kumbh Mela, Indian Bank plans to distribute approximately 200,000 special debit cards to its customers across the state.
Adorned with the symbolic Maha Kumbh logo alongside Indian Bank’s emblem, the card will be issued to customers with zero annual charges. Speaking at the event, Sudhir Kumar Gupta said, “This initiative aligns with the government’s visionary approach to promote digital transactions and enhance financial literacy across Uttar Pradesh.”
