Lucknow: The blood centre team of Civil Hospital Lucknow successfully organised a voluntary blood donation camp, collecting 108 units of blood during a drive held at Bansal Institute of Engineering and Technology in collaboration with Hariom Seva Kendra.
The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from donors, including members of the hospital team. Among those who contributed to the noble cause were Dr. Praveen Kumar, Dr. Ragini Singh, Sanjay Singh, Harihar Shukla, Ramesh Yadav, C.L. Gupta, Vivek Singh, Uma Verma, Sunil, Sarvesh, and several others.
Providing details about the initiative, Dr G P Gupta, Director of Civil Hospital, said that the institution remains committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services to the public. He emphasised the critical importance of voluntary blood donation and urged more people to come forward to donate regularly.

He noted that adequate availability of blood is essential to ensure uninterrupted treatment for patients, particularly during emergencies, and that such initiatives play a vital role in saving lives and strengthening the healthcare system.
