Lucknow: Under the leadership of Anand Dwivedi, BJP Lucknow Metropolitan President, the party has initiated the ‘Constitution Pride Campaign’ across the city. As part of the campaign, essay and speech competitions on the theme ‘Our Constitution, Our Pride’ were organized in various schools.
One of the key events took place at City Modern School in the West Assembly constituency, with Ram Autar Kannaujia as the chief guest, and Anjani Srivastava and Vipin Sonkar, President of SC Morcha, as special guests. In the Central Assembly constituency, a similar program was conducted at Vidya Mandir Digadia, attended by Rajneesh Gupta and Ramesh Toofani, a member of the SC Morcha.
During the program, prizes were distributed to the winners of the competitions. Priya Rawat, Soumya Pal, and Kartikeya secured the first, second, and third positions, respectively, and were felicitated by the guests.
As part of the campaign, BJP’s Yuva Morcha and Mahila Morcha visited schools and colleges to distribute pamphlets, raising awareness about the amendments to the Constitution made during Congress rule and how these were allegedly driven by personal interests. They also highlighted the disrespect shown towards Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the principal architect of the Constitution.
Media In-Charge Praveen Garg shared that the campaign extended to local communities as well. The SC Morcha conducted outreach in the Faridipur area of the West Assembly constituency, spreading awareness about the thoughts and contributions of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and distributing related pamphlets.
The event saw the active participation of prominent BJP leaders and members, including Vimal Chaudhary, Mandal President and Metropolitan General Secretary of SC Morcha; Kundan Gautam, Vishwanath Bharti, Dr. Manmohan Rawat, and many others. The program successfully instilled pride in the Constitution and emphasized its importance in uniting the nation.
