Lucknow: Bhatkhande Sanskriti University, Lucknow, organised a speech competition on the theme “My Dream India” under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, providing students an opportunity to express their ideas on nation-building, social responsibility and India’s future.
Students from various departments participated enthusiastically and shared their perspectives on education, culture, youth power, self-reliance, social harmony, environmental protection and the role of young people in nation-building.
The participants were evaluated on the relevance of their subject matter, clarity of ideas, style of expression, presentation and overall content. Bhargav Porwal secured first place, while Anchal Verma and Himanshu Shekhar jointly secured second place. Shaili won third place. Sirija and Anoop Yadav received consolation prizes.
University Registrar Atul Kumar said youth have an important role to play in nation-building and that themes such as “My Dream India” encourage students to articulate their ideas while reflecting on the country’s future. He said such programmes help strengthen a sense of responsible citizenship and commitment to national duties.
He added that the younger generation can make a meaningful contribution to national development through service, determination and positive thinking, and congratulated all the participants.
The competition was organised under the coordination of Gyanendra Dutt Bajpai, Head of the Department of Dance.
