Lucknow: Lucknow’s Nisarg Natya Sanstha is organizing a three-day theatre festival “Bharat Natya Parv” from 23 May to 25 May 2024. Which is dedicated to the renowned theatre educationist Padmashree Raj Bisaria, the founder director of Bharatendu Natya Academy.
On the first day of the theatre festival on 23 May, the play “Kala Paani” written and directed by Lalit Singh Pokhariya was staged. It is based on the sacrifice of unknown revolutionaries who were sentenced to “Kala Paani”.
On 24 May, the play “Mahaprashna” written and directed by Lalit Singh Pokhariya was staged, which raises questions on the internal and external misdeeds happening with Sanatan culture.
On the last day of the Natya Parv, on 25 May, the poetic play “Chinar Vriksha Aur Hum” will be presented. In this, along with “Chinar Bol Raha Hoon” from the poetic work of Dhan Singh Mehta Anjaan, the poems from the poetic work “Sanlaap” by Lalit Singh Pokhariya will be presented in a theatrical form. Its director is also Lalit Singh Pokhariya. In this presentation, the tragedy of Kashmir and the inhumane tendencies of our society have been poignantly depicted.
Mukesh Bahadur Singh, (President UP Committee Indo American Chamber of Commerce) is the main coordinator of Bharat Natya Parv.
Brajesh Pathak, Deputy Chief Minister inaugurated the festival. On this occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister welcomed the wife of Padma Shri Raj Bisaria, Kiran Bisaria.
