Bareilly: District Magistrate Avinash Singh chaired a review meeting on the Development Department’s CM Dashboard and ongoing construction projects at the Collectorate auditorium on September 30.
The District Magistrate reviewed the progress of various construction works and issued directions to officials and executing agencies to ensure timely completion and adherence to prescribed standards.
Singh directed executing agencies to complete projects that are nearing completion within the stipulated timelines and upload their progress on the designated portal. He also instructed officials to ensure that completed projects are formally handed over to the concerned departments.
Emphasising construction quality, the District Magistrate said there would be no compromise with prescribed standards. He warned that responsibility would be fixed if any lapse in quality or non-compliance with technical standards was found.
Departmental officers were directed to regularly inspect construction works being carried out under their supervision and ensure physical verification of both progress and quality at project sites.
Singh also directed the Executive Engineer of the Public Works Department to identify roads with deep potholes and ensure that repair and filling work is completed before the Navratri festival, so that commuters do not face inconvenience.
Chief Development Officer Devyani, Chief Medical Officer Dr Vishram Singh, Project Director Chandra Prakash Srivastava, District Panchayati Raj Officer Kamal Kishore, representatives of executing agencies and other concerned officials attended the meeting.
