Ayodhya gears up for grand Ram Navami festivities

Ayodhya: There is special enthusiasm for the first Ram Navami in Ayodhya after the consecration of Ram Lalla. On Thursday, State Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra and DGP Prashant Kumar reached Ayodhya and held a review meeting regarding the preparations. Before this, both the officers visited the temple premises and gave instructions to improve all the arrangements.

In the meeting, instructions were also given to the officials regarding the security of the Ram Janmabhoomi complex. Officials gave instructions in the meeting to improve all the arrangements including easy darshan, accommodation, drinking water, medical etc for the devotees.

IG Praveen Kumar said that about 50 lakh devotees are expected to reach Ayodhya on the festival of Shri Ram Navami. The first Ram Navami will be celebrated in the grand and divine temple on 17th April. The Chief Secretary and DGP have given many guidelines for crowd management. He said that there should be no negligence of any kind in security. IG Praveen Kumar said that all instructions will be followed.

Recently, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had also held a meeting with the officials regarding the safety of the devotees coming from every corner of the country for the Ram Navami fair. Both the officers instructed the local officials to follow the instructions given in the Chief Minister’s meeting.

ADG Zone Amarendra Kumar Sengar, Commissioner Gaurav Dayal, IG Praveen Kumar, DM Nitish Kumar, SSP Rajkaran Nayyar and other officers were present in the meeting. Trust officials and members were also present in the meeting.
