Lucknow: The inaugural Eye Health Camp under the Arunoday Drishti Kumbh 2025 was hosted at Shriram Samagra Swasthya Prabandhan Sansthan, Rampur Deorai, Bakshi Ka Talab. The event was jointly organized by Shriram Samagra Swasthya Prabandhan Sansthan, Gayatri Shaktipeeth, and Gayatri Pariwar Trust, with active support from a 20-member optometrist team from Retrobee and AKG Nursing Institute.
Over 200 individuals benefited from free eye examinations, medicines, and glasses. Cases requiring advanced treatment, such as cataracts and diabetes-related conditions, were referred to hospitals. Beneficiaries received free glasses, with follow-ups ensured for pending prescriptions.
Additionally, general health checkups were conducted, focusing on blood pressure and sugar levels. Dr. Kavita Mishra launched the Yug Nirman Sewa Card, emphasizing affordable healthcare access.
The event, coordinated by Rishabh Rastogi, highlighted a collective commitment to community health, with heartfelt gratitude expressed to all volunteers, collaborators, and divine inspiration from Pujya Gurudev.
