Mumbai: The convergence of devotion and digital technology took centre stage in Mumbai with the launch of Bhaktidwar Television, a new digital platform focused on spiritual and devotional content. Renowned bhajan singer and Padma Shri awardee Anup Jalota formally launched the platform and unveiled its logo at the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Jalota described Bhaktidwar as more than a digital entertainment platform, calling it a medium through which people can connect with spirituality, positivity and inner peace.

Jalota said that he had personally embraced the Bhaktidwar initiative and described it as a gateway to devotion, happiness and peace. He observed that many people today experience stress and mental pressure, and suggested that devotional music, prayer and remembrance of God can provide a sense of calm during difficult periods.
He also noted the growing interest among younger audiences in devotional music and spiritual content, saying that such programming can offer a positive and soothing experience amid the pressures of contemporary life.

Bhaktidwar founder Dinesh Asopa, who said the platform had taken nearly a decade of effort to develop, said the objective was not to create another conventional OTT service but to build a dedicated destination for devotional, spiritual and Sanatan cultural content.
The platform will offer religious series, bhajans, mantras, chalisa, spiritual discourses, AI-generated videos, animated content and live broadcasts of religious events. The service has been introduced with a subscription price of ₹11 per week.
The launch marks an effort to combine traditional devotional content with modern digital formats and make spiritual programming accessible to audiences through a contemporary platform.
