Lucknow – Reaffirming its commitment to providing higher education that meets international standards and equipping students with global exposure, Amity University continues to forge meaningful collaborations with international organizations.
As part of this ongoing initiative, Public Diplomacy Officer, U.S. Embassy, New Delhi, Adelle Gillen, and Education Specialist and Head of the Education Team at the U.S. Embassy in India, Gauri Kalra, visited Amity University’s Lucknow Campus. Gillen, an esteemed American diplomat, currently leads education and emerging voices programs for the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi.
Pro Vice-Chancellor, Amity University Lucknow Campus, Prof. (Dr.) Anil Vashishth, warmly welcomed the distinguished guests in a traditional manner and provided them with an overview of the university’s achievements and global initiatives.

Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor, Wing Commander Dr. Anil Kumar Tiwari, Dean Academics Dr. Rajesh Tiwari, and other department heads were also present during the visit.
During the discussions, Prof. Vashishth and Ms. Gillen explored various strategies for advancing internationalization in higher education. Key topics included Amity’s collaborations with global universities and how the U.S. Embassy, New Delhi, could support initiatives such as student exchange programs, teacher training, capacity-building, and partnerships with U.S. institutions.
