Adani Group Enters India’s Top 10 Most Valuable Brands for the First Time

Mumbai: The Adani Group has entered India’s top 10 most valuable brands for the first time, marking a significant milestone in its corporate growth. According to the Brand Finance India 100 Report 2026, released by global independent brand valuation consultancy Brand Finance, the conglomerate has climbed from 13th to 8th position within a year, becoming the fastest Indian corporate brand to reach the top 10 in just three years.

The report values the Adani Group’s brand at US$8.48 billion, reflecting a 31.3% year-on-year increase—the fastest annual growth among India’s top 20 brands. The group’s brand value has risen by US$2.02 billion over the past year alone, exceeding its total brand valuation recorded in 2022. This growth has also positioned Adani as India’s third-largest corporate brand.

The report highlights the group’s strong presence across infrastructure, energy and logistics, sectors that continue to benefit from India’s rapid economic expansion and large-scale investment in critical infrastructure.

Adani Power Emerges as India’s Leading Energy Brand

Among the group’s businesses, Adani Power delivered the strongest performance, with its brand value surging 152% to US$1.8 billion, making it India’s highest-valued energy brand. Adani Green Energy and Adani Energy Solutions also secured positions among the country’s top five energy brands, while Adani Total Gas further strengthened the group’s presence in the sector.

The achievement comes as India continues to accelerate investments in power generation, renewable energy, electricity transmission and energy storage infrastructure.

Brand Strength Also Improves

Brand Finance’s rankings extend beyond financial performance, evaluating factors such as consumer perception, brand reputation, market influence, future earnings potential and overall brand strength.

Reflecting these broader measures, the Adani Group’s Brand Strength Index (BSI) improved to 84, representing an eight-place jump and the strongest improvement among India’s top 20 brands.

Commenting on the rankings, Alex Haigh, Managing Director of Brand Finance Asia-Pacific, said the Adani Group’s entry into the top 10 underscores its growing contribution to India’s development story. He noted that the company’s continued expansion across infrastructure, logistics and energy has significantly enhanced its brand profile.

The report also noted that the combined value of India’s top 100 brands reached a record US$252.8 billion in 2026, reflecting the country’s expanding economic influence and the growing global recognition of Indian businesses. Industry observers believe that infrastructure, clean energy, logistics, digital connectivity and manufacturing will continue to drive India’s next phase of growth, creating further opportunities for leading corporate brands.
