Lucknow: Lucknow’s Chinhat Police has arrested the accused involved in raping a minor. This arrest was made by Chinhat Police on 31 December 2024. The accused Ranjit Paswan son Mantu Paswan resident of village Pehchaan Turk Hi district Kushinagar was arrested from the house of maternal uncle Ramashankar Majhi.
The accused is accused of forcibly having physical relations with a 12-year-old minor girl on 19 November 2024. In this case, a case has been registered against the accused under POCSO Act and other sections.
The investigation is being conducted under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Bharat Kumar Pathak. Necessary legal action is being taken against the accused.
