Bareilly: KCMT student Mishti Shukla won the title of the first Giants Singing Star at the grand finale held at SRMS Riddhima in Bareilly. She received the winner’s trophy, certificate and a cash prize of ₹31,000.
Invertis University student Purskriti was declared the first runner-up and received a trophy and ₹21,000, while Ajay Shankar, a student of Maharaja Agrasen College, secured the second runner-up position and received ₹15,000 along with a trophy.
The two consolation prizes went to Muskan Gupta and Yashi Gangwar, students of the Institute of Dental Sciences, Bareilly International University. Both received trophies and cash prizes of ₹10,000 each. The prizes, certificates and trophies were presented by Dev Murti, Founder and Chairman of SRMS Trust.
The competition was organised on Thursday evening by Giants Group of Bareilly as part of its Giants Week 2026 celebrations to provide a platform for emerging singing talent. Giants Group of Bareilly President Abhay Jasoria said more than 160 contestants had registered for the competition, while 148 participants appeared for auditions held at Riddhima on September 14 and 15.
The jury comprising Dr. Rita Sharma, Satvik Mishra, Awadhesh Kumar Goswami and Vishal Saxena shortlisted 22 contestants for the final. The finalists showcased their singing abilities before the jury and audience, with the winners selected through jury assessment and online audience voting.
Mishti Shukla won the title with her rendition of ‘Kahan Ho Tum Chale Aao’. Purskriti performed ‘Shyam Teri Bansi Pukare Radha Naam’, while Ajay Shankar presented ‘Chhap Tilak Sab Chhini Re Mose Naina Milay Ke’. Muskan Gupta performed ‘Ek Radha Ek Meera Dono Ne’, and Yashi Gangwar presented ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’.
The programme was conducted by Puneet Saxena. Giants Group of Bareilly Director of Administration Aditya Murti thanked the winners and all participants and wished them success in their future endeavours.
