Bareilly: The Management Faculty of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University concluded its induction and orientation programme ‘Deeksharambh 2026’ for newly admitted students with an energetic valedictory session, encouraging participants to pursue professional excellence while embracing technology, discipline and ethical values.
Held under the guidance and patronage of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Anil Kumar Rai, the concluding session brought together academics and experts who interacted with students and offered insights into career development, emerging technologies and personal growth.
Global Perspective and the Role of AI
The chief guest at the valedictory session was Prof. Shiv K. Tripathi from the Berlin School of Business and Innovation, Germany. Addressing the students, he highlighted the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in improving decision-making and professional efficiency.
He said that professionalism, self-confidence and responsible conduct would remain important qualities for students seeking to navigate an increasingly competitive professional environment.
Personality Development and Ethics
Special guests Prof. Ashutosh Priya and Dr Manjula Singh spoke about the importance of personal awareness, positive communication and effective body language in both professional and personal life. Prof. B.K. Jha also shared motivational thoughts with the students.
Faculty members of the Management Faculty offered practical guidance to help students adapt to university life and prepare for their future careers.
Prof. Trilochan Sharma, Head of Department and Convenor, emphasised the importance of regular class attendance, discipline and active participation in academic activities.
Prof. Sanjay Mishra, Programme Director, encouraged students to develop their thinking, adhere to sound principles and maintain professional ethics.
Prof. Tulika Saxena, Programme Coordinator, advised students to set SMART goals — Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-bound — and pursue them with a focused approach.
Dr Hema Verma encouraged students to develop confidence, courtesy and professional maturity, while Dr Saurabh Verma underlined consistency as a key factor in achieving sustainable long-term success.
Faculty and Students Contribute to Successful Programme
The organisers acknowledged the contribution of the faculty members and student volunteers who helped make the programme successful.
