Rae Bareli: Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla visited the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Rae Bareli, along with Uttar Pradesh Food and Civil Supplies Minister Dr Manoj Kumar Pandey. During his visit, the Governor reviewed the institute’s recent progress and achievements and highlighted the importance of quality healthcare in building a healthy and developed India.
A welcome programme was organised at the institute’s Multi-Purpose Hall from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, where senior officials, doctors and staff members welcomed the Governor and the Cabinet Minister.

Executive Director Dr Amita Jain welcomed the distinguished guests and expressed gratitude for their visit. She briefed them on the progress made by AIIMS Rae Bareli and its contribution to healthcare services.
Addressing the gathering, Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla appreciated the institute’s recent achievements and said that institutions such as AIIMS play a crucial role in making high-quality healthcare accessible to the public. He also encouraged young people to pursue careers in healthcare and extended his best wishes to MBBS, nursing and other students for their future.
Emphasising the vision of a developed India by 2047, the Governor said that the foundation of a developed nation lies in a healthy India.

Cabinet Minister Dr Manoj Kumar Pandey spoke about the Governor’s social life and highlighted his contributions to Uttar Pradesh.
In the next segment of the programme, Governor Shukla presented appreciation certificates to 30 sanitation workers in recognition of their outstanding services in maintaining cleanliness at the institute.
Officials from the district administration and police administration, media representatives, and senior officers and employees of AIIMS Rae Bareli attended the programme.
