Mumbai: Following the success of Bohurupi, acclaimed filmmaker duo Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee are set to return with the next chapter in the franchise, Bohurupi: The Golden Dacoit, which is slated for a grand theatrical release during Durga Puja 2026.
Adding to the anticipation, acclaimed actor Sohini Sarkar has joined the cast, marking her first collaboration with Windows Production and her debut Puja release under the celebrated banner.
Building on the world established in Bohurupi, the new film promises a larger cinematic canvas centred on the story of a legendary dacoit.
