Vijayawada: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president Nara Chandrababu Naidu was sworn in as Andhra Pradesh chief minister for the fourth time. Governor S Abdul Nazir administered the oath of office and secrecy to 74-year-old Chandrababu Naidu in the presence of lakhs of people and celebrities. During this, Chandrababu Naidu became emotional. After which Naidu hugged Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Chandrababu Naidu became emotional during the swearing-in ceremony
Many leaders including PM Narendra Modi attended the swearing-in ceremony held at Kesarpalli IT Park in Vijayawada. The Prime Minister presented him a bouquet to congratulate him. During this, Naidu (Chandrababu Naidu) looked very emotional. After which PM Modi hugged him. After Chandrababu Naidu, Janasena chief and actor Pawan Kalyan took oath as deputy CM. There are 23 ministers in Chandrababu Naidu’s government, including the deputy CM. There are 19 ministers from TDP, 3 from Janasena including Pawan Kalyan and one minister from BJP. One post has been kept vacant.
Pawan Kalyan became Deputy CM
After taking oath as Deputy CM, Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan went to his elder brother Megastar Chiranjeevi and touched his feet and took blessings. Apart from this, Chandrababu Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh took oath as minister. After taking oath, TDP General Secretary Lokesh took blessings from his father, PM Modi and the Governor. It is worth noting that in 2021, Naidu walked out of the assembly after his wife was allegedly insulted by some MLAs of the YSR Congress Party and then Naidu vowed that he would take oath as CM again one day.

Former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, Amit Shah, J.P. Nadda, Nitin Gadkari, former Chief Justice of India N.V. Ramanna, Ram Mohan Naidu, Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, Kishan Reddy, Chirag Paswan, Ramdas Athawale, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde, state BJP president D. Purandeswari were present. Apart from this, popular actors Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi and TDP MLA N. Balakrishna were also present on the stage.
