Lucknow: In a touching tribute to her late father, Padmaja, the younger daughter of Prateek Yadav, has chosen to preserve his memory through a deeply personal tattoo. The artwork, inked on her hand, depicts her father lovingly embracing her, symbolizing an everlasting bond between the two.
The emotional gesture has drawn widespread attention after tattoo artist Sakshi Panwar shared a video of the tattooing process on Instagram. In the video, Padmaja can be seen getting the portrait tattooed on her hand and repeatedly admiring it with visible emotion. According to the artist, the young girl expressed comfort in knowing that her father would now always remain close to her.
Prateek Yadav, the younger son of late Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, passed away unexpectedly in Lucknow on May 13 this year at the age of 38. He was also the husband of BJP leader Aparna Yadav and the younger brother of Samajwadi Party chief **Akhilesh Yadav.
According to reports, Prateek’s health suddenly deteriorated on the morning of May 13, following which he was rushed to a civil hospital in Lucknow. Doctors declared him dead upon examination, sending shockwaves through the Yadav family, political circles, and supporters across the state.

Medical sources had indicated that Prateek Yadav had been battling a serious lung-related ailment for some time. He had reportedly undergone treatment at a private hospital in Lucknow after his condition worsened.
Doctors said he was suffering from Pulmonary Embolism, a life-threatening condition in which a blood clot becomes lodged in the arteries of the lungs, obstructing blood flow and oxygen circulation throughout the body. The condition can cause sudden and severe complications and is considered a medical emergency.
The heartfelt tattoo has since resonated with many on social media, where users have described it as a moving expression of a daughter’s enduring love and remembrance for her father.
