Talking about what keeps her motivated, Nidhi shares, “Honestly, every day on set feels exciting because I get to do what I truly love. I always look forward to performing my scenes, meeting everyone on set, and learning something new each day as an actor.”
While many actors enjoy relaxing between shots, Nidhi admits she is someone who constantly likes to stay occupied. “I genuinely can’t sit idle when I’m not shooting. So I’m either talking to someone or the other, editing my content, or if I have enough time, I’m sleeping,” she says with a laugh.
The actress also feels that being associated with a long-running and emotionally layered show like *Anupamaa* has contributed greatly to her growth as a performer. According to her, regularly portraying different emotions and understanding her character more deeply has strengthened her confidence in front of the camera.
“This show has really helped me grow as an actor. Working consistently, understanding my character deeply, and performing different emotional scenes has made me more confident and expressive as a performer,” Nidhi says.
Recalling one of her most memorable moments on set, the actress opens up about sharing screen space with Rupali Ganguly for the first time. Though nervous initially, she describes the experience as an important learning moment in her career.

“I wouldn’t say it was emotionally taxing, but one scene that definitely stayed with me was my first big one-on-one scene with Rupaly Ma’am. Since it was such an important scene and my first major interaction with her on screen, I was naturally a little nervous and under pressure. But it also became a great learning experience for me as an actor,” she shares.
Off screen too, Nidhi says the love and encouragement from her family have been constant pillars of strength. She reveals that her family feels proud and excited to watch her journey unfold on television.
Speaking about fame and recognition, the actress believes audience appreciation holds far more value than awards. “Audience love definitely matters more to me because that connection is real and immediate. When people genuinely connect with your work and appreciate your performance, that feeling is very special. Awards are beautiful too, but audience love stays forever,” she says.
Despite the growing popularity that comes with being part of one of television’s biggest shows, Nidhi remains grounded and focused on improving herself as an artist.
“Being part of such a popular show is definitely a great feeling and I’m very grateful for all the love coming my way. But for me, the biggest focus has always been doing good work and growing as an actor. The love and popularity that come with it are truly a blessing,” she concludes.
