Akhilesh Yadav Honours Board Toppers with Laptops in Lucknow

Lucknow: Samajwadi Party national president and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday felicitated meritorious students from Agra and Farrukhabad districts at the Samajwadi Party state headquarters in Lucknow. The students, who excelled in UP Board, CBSE and ICSE examinations, were honoured with laptops in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements.

During the event, Akhilesh Yadav congratulated the students for their excellent performances and extended his best wishes for their bright future. Family members of the students were also felicitated on the occasion.

Among the Agra district achievers, Sapna secured the fourth position in the district in the UP Board examinations with 92 percent marks, while Vaishnavi Yadav scored 94.50 percent in the ICSE Board exams. Bindesh Nishad emerged as Agra topper and secured the eighth rank in Uttar Pradesh with 96.50 percent marks in the UP Board examinations. Muskan Yadav scored 96.17 percent to finish second in Agra and ninth in the state.

Other notable students honoured included Aleema Ali, who secured 95.50 percent in CBSE exams, Shivani Jatav, who scored 90.30 percent and recorded the highest marks among Dalit students in the district, Abhay Pratap Singh Dhakare, who secured 91.02 percent and stood sixth in Agra, and Abhishek Nishad, who scored 96 percent to finish third in the district. Mayank Yadav also impressed with 94.50 percent in the ICSE Intermediate examinations.

Senior Samajwadi Party leader Rajpal Yadav from Agra played a key role in facilitating the distribution of laptops to the district’s toppers.

Students from Farrukhabad were also honoured for their remarkable academic success. Anshika Yadav of SK Inter College, Manjhna, who secured first position in the district and fourth rank in Uttar Pradesh with 97.17 percent marks in the High School examinations, received special recognition. Riddhima Verma of Rajveer Inter College, Kamalganj, secured second place in the district and seventh rank in the state with 96.67 percent marks, while Nancy Singh was honoured for securing third position in the district with 95 percent marks.

The laptop distribution for Farrukhabad students was supported by Narendra Singh Yadav, Manoj Mishra, district president Chandrapal Yadav and Dr. Naval Kishore Shakya.

On the sidelines of the programme, Dr. Hasmat Ali Khan and Mohammad Tariq Umar presented their book titled “Status of Under Trial Prisoners in Criminal Justice System of India” to Akhilesh Yadav. The publication focuses on the socio-legal conditions of undertrial prisoners in India.

Research scholar Alok Saurabh Pandey also presented his PhD thesis titled “Freedom of Speech and Expression with Special Reference to Social and Electronic Media in India” to the Samajwadi Party chief.

Several senior party leaders and dignitaries attended the event, including national secretary Rajendra Chaudhary, state president Shyam Lal Pal, former minister Ram Asrey Vishwakarma, Chandradev Ram Yadav, MLA Jaikishan Sahu, former MLC Dr. Rajpal Kashyap, Sunil Singh Sajan, Dr. Naval Kishore Shakya and former Lucknow North Assembly candidate Pooja Shukla.
