Lucknow: Shri Harbhaj Ram Kripa Devi Trust Hospital has installed a water cooler outside its hospital premises to provide chilled drinking water to passersby and patients amid the rising summer temperatures.
The water cooler was inaugurated by Vidyasagar Gupta. The inauguration ceremony was attended by hospital secretary Amit Gupta, Siddharth Gupta, and other members of the hospital staff.
Speaking on the occasion, Amit Gupta said that the hospital has been serving patients selflessly for the past 64 years. He added that the institution believes in the philosophy of “service to humanity is service to God.”
He further stated that considering the intense summer heat, the hospital administration decided to install the water cooler on the main road outside the hospital premises so that pedestrians can have access to cold drinking water round the clock. Patients and visitors coming to the hospital will also benefit from the facility.
The initiative has been appreciated by local residents and commuters, especially during the ongoing heatwave conditions in the city.
